The video series, “The Journey – Shepherding God’s People” announced the latest release of “Insights on God’s Plan”; a video presentation of a time of worship that focuses on a question many have asked; “What is God’s plan for my life?” This video and accompanying bible study are designed to help those feeling separated from their faith community get connected. The series is comprised of the video time of worship, a blog and three bible studies that can be used as a Spiritual Wellness program for those in their third chapter of life wherever they live.
“Today, in the sunset of our lives, we may feel more lost and vulnerable than ever, when God’s plan seems unclear and puzzling. This is a time when we should reflect on the Lord’s clear commitment to us to provide a plan for our lives.” said Reverend Carol Jubenville, Program Coordinator. “Everyone of us may have experienced feelings such as sense of loss, confusion, not having a plan for the future. Somehow, like the Jews in our bible passage in Jeremiah, they ultimately find their way home, and so can we.”
This video series is designed to bring people living in senior housing, assisted living, skilled nursing and for those finding it difficult to attend church services, a sense that their faith community has not forgotten them. The viewer(s) will be able to experience a time of worship with an exciting message, uplifting hymns, and centering prayers. As we bring “church’ into your home Reverend Carol Jubenville, a Methodist Pastor and Fr. Tom Servius , a Roman Catholic Priest, will review scripture and discuss thoughtful ways in which you will be able to connect to your faith journey.
The videos and other content are available on the web site www.TheJourneyVideo.com. Included on the website are blogs and bible studies that coincide with each video allowing for deeper understanding of the message and scriptures. The program is funded by St. Joseph’s Pastoral Care, Inc., and all content and videos are offered at no charge and are copywritten.
