The video series, “The Journey – Shepherding God’s People” has released the latest video and bible study with “The Lord’s Prayer”. This most recent offering of a time of worship focuses on the model prayer that Jesus taught his disciples and other followers to pray. Those who get stuck on the challenge of how to pray can find the solution in The Lord’s Prayer as a good place to start. The series is comprised of the video time of worship, a blog and three bible studies that can be used as a Spiritual Wellness program for those in their third chapter of life wherever they live.
“Jesus reminds His followers that both service to the needy and prayer should be done humbly and quietly, without bragging and without any expectation of praise, acknowledgement, or reward.” said Reverend Carol Jubenville, Program Coordinator. “What we know as The Lord’s Prayer provides us with a means of connecting with our Creator and aids us when we find ourselves in a prayer slump especially during the Lent Season.”
This video series is designed to bring people living in senior housing, assisted living, skilled nursing and for those finding it difficult to attend church services a means to be connected with their faith community. The viewer(s) will be able to experience a time of worship with an exciting message, uplifting hymns, and centering prayers. As we bring “church’ into your home Reverend Carol Jubenville, a Methodist Pastor and Father John Buehler, a Roman Catholic Priest, will review scripture and discuss thoughtful ways in which you will be able to understand that you are not forgotten and to help connect to your faith journey. The videos and other content are available on the web site www.TheJourneyVideo.com. Included on the website are blogs and bible studies that coincide with each video allowing for deeper understanding of the message and scriptures. The program is funded by St. Joseph’s Pastoral Care, Inc., and all content and videos are offered at no charge and are copywritten.
