Carol Jubenville has over 35 years’ experience in leadership positions both in the secular and religious worlds. As an advocate for the senior population both locally and state wide, she is always on the cutting edge of helping seniors maintain a sense of dignity as they live out their lives filled with hope and compassion. Previously, as an Executive Director and Methodist pastor to senior housing, she created an environment of ‘aging in place’ which is unique to independent living complexes nationally. She instituted five core values for the multi-million organization she led for over 24 that includes: Integrity, Community, Individualism, Passion and Risk-taking.
She has written articles on “independence planning” that address important issues such as financial, physical, social and spiritual journeying in your “Golden Years’ as well as two study guides on “Spiritual Visitations to the Elderly” and “Don’t Count me Out. In 2005, Rev. Jubenville was honored to be appointed as a congressional delegate to the 5th White House Conference in Aging, held in Washington, D.C.
Rev. Jubenville is well known throughout Central New York for her fund-raising abilities where she has raised millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. She has an extensive background in business administration, program development, grant-writing, capital campaigns, planned giving and public speaking. Her expertise in working with the elderly population has put her in demand as a consultant and guest pastor to many organizations who are striving to improve the quality of life for their senior population.
As of 2020 Rev. Jubenville, founder of Divine Development and Leadership Group (DDLG), currently is part of a new and exciting video series “The Journey- Shepherding God’s People”, bringing moments of worship to those in their third chapter of life, homebound, or separated from their faith communities. Each month a video and bible studies are offered as a resource to all Spiritual Wellness program providers who value the care of body, mind and spirit by means of grace, hope and assurance of God’s love to all people.
